在多年教学过程中，我总结出内容、语言、结构是快速提升高中英语作文成绩的三大方面。内容是我们表达的思想、讲的故事、抒发的感受；语言是我们在表达内容时涉及到的遣词、造句；结构，就是文中内容和语言的组织形式，即如何分段、每段写什么。语言是内容的载体，内容是语言所表达的内涵，而合理的结构体现着你清晰的写作思路。实践表明，只要在这三个方面上有所提升，英语作文分数就能明显提高。

一、关于作文的内容

英语作文属于“限制性写作”。所谓的“限制”，就是通过内容要点、提纲、图画、图表等形式，对作文的内容进行限制.。也就是说，大家写的内容都是大同小异的。这里，我们要谈到，英语作文和语文作文的考察方向是不一样的。语文作文会考察同学们的思想深刻性、知识丰富性、心态积极性等纯“内容”层面的东西；而英语作文主要考察的是你“对英语这门语言的运用能力”――这是英语应试作文命题的本质特征。也就是说，同样在写“感谢老师”这个话题，某同学写的感谢理由是“老师为祖国做出贡献”，而他的同桌写的是“老师教得好”，此时，阅卷老师并不会因为前者所表达的思想更加高尚而为其额外加分。阅卷老师给分的主要依据是：看谁能够把自己的想法表达得更加清楚！

那么，到底要写什么样的内容？关于作文的内容，我提出两个观点：

1、对于题目要求的内容：要写得全面。

2、对于需要自己发挥的内容：要想得简单。

二、关于作文的语言

在同学的作文内容差不多的情况下，老师阅卷主要靠什么依据来判分呢？其中一个依据，就是语言。比如跟朋友分别时，同意表达“再见”这个意思，一般人只会说“再见”二字，而语言水平高的诗人们则会说：“孤帆远影碧空尽，唯见长江天际流。”“莫愁前路无知己，天下谁人不识君。”“桃花潭水深千尺，不及汪伦赠我情。”同样的内容（再见），只要用不同水平的语言表达出来，给人的感觉就大不一样！大多数考生写作文，都是以“写够字数”作为自己的努力方向，因此习惯性地用初一、初二的单词和语法知识来堆砌自己的命运；而真正的“高手”应该努力尝试使用较高级的语言知识来打造自己的高分作文。这方面的技巧包括：简单词替换、主语替换、句式替换等非常容易操作的技巧。

1、简单词替换：将good等简单词替换为excellent 等高级词汇。注意，在学习使用高级词汇时，应该首先尝试把一些常用词汇进行替换，如good，happy，tired，think about，important等。

2、主语替换：a.将习惯使用的“用人作主语”换成“用物作主语”（亦称“无灵主语”），如把“I like English.”变成“English is my favourite subject.”或者“English attracts me a lot.”

b.用动名词作主语。

3、句式替换：a.使用“不完全倒装句”：遇到否定词、形容词这两种常见的“升级标志词”时，可以将句子变成倒装句来表达。如：“I don't believe it.”变成“By no means do I believe it.”或者把“This is a beautiful flower.”变成“So beautiful is the flower that we all like it.”

b. 使用“强调句”：用“It is + 被强调部分 + that +句子剩余部分”句型，来强调一个句子中的某个成分。事实上，只要是个现成的英语句子，都能拿出某个成分出来强调一下。如：把“I like English most.”改写为“It is English that I like most.”可以看出，强调句型是用起来最方便的高考高级句型。

需要注意，再厉害的句型，一旦重复次数过多，也会显得低俗。因而大家进考场前可以多掌握几种高级句型，就像战士上战场前多带几发子弹一样，在最关键的地方一发一发地用到作文里去。

三、关于作文的结构

刚才，我们其实分析了高考英语作文的前两个重要的方面，那么，只要注意了内容和语言就够了吗？不是的！除了考虑内容（表达什么）和语言（怎样表达），我们还要注意用什么样的顺序把整篇文章里的一个个段落、每个段落里的一个个句子组织起来，也就是第三点需要注意的东西：作文的结构。

作文结构研究的是下面两个问题：1、文章分几段；2、每段写什么。

在研究每年的高分试卷过程中，我们发现，阅卷老师偏爱的文章往往都是用某些特定的结构组织起来的。如书信作文一般分成三类段落：1、开头段：2、中间段；3、结尾段。

其中，开头段要写出问候、自我介绍、写信缘由、写信目的四种内容；中间段要按照题目的要求进行“具体问题，具体分析”，一般要写原因、建议等内容；结尾段往往是感谢、祝愿、期待回信等客套话。了解了这样的结构，将大大提高作文构思的速度。

综上所述，高考作文的发力点在于以下三个：内容、语言、结构。在长期研究过程中，我们发现，高分作文往往满足以下三个特点：1、内容切题；2、语言精彩；3、结构清晰；

针对这三个发力点，我建议大家有的放矢地进行以下三方面的工作：

第一，内容方面：了解高考作文常考的话题，结合高中教材，整理背诵一些常考的话题以及这些话题中常见的单词和句子，考试时便可信手拈来，这将大大提高备考的针对性和答题的速度。

一、仔细审题，找出主题

高考书面表达试题包括了写作要求提示、注意事项提示和生词提示等部分。这就要求我们全面审题。这几年，高考书面表达的写作要点提示呈现多种形式，有中文提纲式的，有图画和漫画式的，有图表式的，英文阅读式的或多种形式的结合。所以我们要注意背景说明，确定文体和时态。如果是看图写文，看懂每幅图之间的联系至关重要。

二、清理提炼 ，整合要点

理清要点很重要，以免遗漏要点或跑题。根据材料，找关键词（句） ，并理清关键词（句）间的关系，借助关键词，用自己的语言恰当地概括要点，列英文提纲。

比如2010辽宁卷书面表达的要点提示：内容主要包括：

―― 母语是英语，汉语流利者优先

―― 解答英语学习问题，协助组织英语活动

―― 每周四小时，报酬面议

―― 联系人：李华（tel.13011223344）

可以先根据这些要点列出英文提纲：

1. a native speaker of English， fluency in Chinese

2. help students to practice their oral English ，answer their questions， help organize activities

3. work 4 hours per week ，discussing the payment

4. calling Li Hua at 13011223344

三、遣词造句， 译写单句

一个正确的句子涉及到我们平时的点点滴滴，比如，主谓一致、时态的运用、代词的使用、介词的多余或残缺、冠词的有无、句子成分是否完整、及物动词与否的判断、非谓语动词的逻辑主语有无着落、错将从句当完整句、汉语式句子等。这就要求我们有很强的选词和造句的能力。选词要识别词义，明确词性，注意词义联展与语用习惯。英语里面有许多同义词，还有一词多义和一词多性 的情况。选词造句的时候必须注意自己在使用词语的哪一个意思。例如： The hero has died for one year. His dead made us feel sorrow.。第一句has died应改为has been deed，第二句dead应改为death。只能说“My heart is beating fast”而不是说：“My heart is jumping fast.”所以说正确使用英语单词，就得了解其词义系统和语用习惯，“Listen carefully， or you won't be able to hear anything”一句中的listen和hear的涵义决不是等同的。

总的来说，造句的时候，应该选择自己有把握的、简单常用的、词义明确的词，而不要用自己心中无数的、冷僻的、可能产生歧义的词。在此基础上， 还有一点也应当引起注意，要有意识地使用高级词汇、短语及较复杂的结构， 充分显示自己的实力（如非谓语动词，宾/状/定从句等）。 增加文章的亮点，提高作文档次。例如： at the foot of the mountain， there was a small river.把其中的was改为flowed，句子会更生动。I used to like reading and writing poems at middle school. 如果把like改为take delight in，更具新颖性。

变换表达方式 使文章内容丰富多彩 。例如：He was very glad. He jumped with joy。改为He was so glad that he jumped with joy. 合并单句，使语言由松散变凝练 。Only in this way will we be able to succeed .比we will be able to succeed in this way.具有感染力。

遣词造句的能力在英语写作中是非常重要的，是书面表达成败的关键。因此，平时就加强这方面的训练就显得尤其重要。

四、谋篇布局 ， 初步成文

高考书面表达评分标准要求考生有效的使用语句间的连接成分，使全文内容连贯，结构紧凑。 组句成文的各种关系的常用过渡词语。

o 并列 and； as well as ； also： both and； not only but also； neither nor；

o 选择 or； either―or； or else； otherwise；

o 原因 because ； owing to； due to ； thanks to；

o 结果 so ； therefore ； thus ； as a result ；

o 时间 when ； before； later ； first ； and then ； next ； finally ； afterwards；

o 比较 on the country ； on the other hand ； like ；

o 转折 but ； yet； however ； although； while ；in spite of ； instead ；

o 递进 besides ； moreover ； even ； in addition ； what's more；also； further more：

o 举例 for example/instance； such as ； that is ； namely ；

o 总结 all in all ； in short ； in general ； in conclusion； to conclude；in a word；

组段就是将句子和句子连接起来，但这种连接绝不是机械的连接单纯词汇和句子的堆砌，而是必须要做到上下文意思连贯，句与句间的排列符合逻辑，符合认知规律，通过语法、词法等手段来完成。要按照不同文章的逻辑方式合理组织材料，如时间顺序、空间顺序、比较、演绎、归纳等。并下功夫开好头，结好尾。

五、检查润色 ，定稿誊写

三、注意句子之间的过渡与衔接

作文的评分标准是把衔接和连贯作为重要的标准来衡量的。构成衔接成分的过渡词语，被称为“篇章纽带”，其语篇连接作用是不言而喻的。因此，要正确恰当地使用这些表示逻辑关系的关联词语，使文章前后连贯，结构紧凑，过渡自然。

2.表达众说不一的观点：

八、积累背诵各类文章写作模版和优美范文

熟读成诵对写作是非常重要的，考生除了平时多背诵好词好句之外，也要背诵一些写作模版和地道优美的范文。坚持不断积累，用时才能随手拈来，达到“下笔如有神”的境界。

结语

在2008年本人任教高三英语的这一学年里，按照上述的作文技巧和训练对策对我所任教的班级进行了系统的训练，学生的作文取得了很大提高，而且学生的英语总成绩也相应取得了明显的进步。一模考试、二模考试及高考中，我所任教的两班学生的作文得分普遍较高，全班英语总分平均分、优秀率在学校全级遥遥领先，在全市比较也取得了很好的成绩。总之，作文的训练非一日之功，只有掌握了作文的解题策略、高分技巧，经常训练与积累，不断提高英语综合语言应用能力，才能全面地提高学生的写作水平。

i am writing to recommend wang lingyan as the new chairperson of the students union. i think she will be an excellent chairperson, because she has many good personal qualities.

wang lingyan is a confident girl and all the students in our class think she is really powerful. she has the ability to organize us very well. most of us admire her for her ability. she is also outgoing. she is never afraid of talking to the strangers. this is very important, because she will have to speak in front of the whole school.

wang lingyan is also a clever girl. she always gets good marks in tests. for example, she got the first in the last math exam, so i think she is clever enough to come up with good ideals. i also think wang lingyan is organized and never forgets to do the things she needs to do. she wont give up things easily that she decides to do someting.
