转眼到除夕了。大家都放假了。大家在家里收拾家，小孩子也帮忙。老人们下午就开始包饺子、做菜。到了晚上，大家在一起吃团圆饭，看春节晚会。吃完饭去祭祖，回来就守岁，没有人睡觉，直到新年的到来，直到凌晨才休息一会儿。

大年初一后，大家都出去走亲戚了，有的人在家里接待来拜年的人。也有的人用这几天假期的时间出去游山玩水，和家人一起旅游，直到假期结束了才回来上班。人们的高兴劲也没了，在家等待着春节的另一个高潮。
