The journal Rasp-research On Ageing And Social Policy is dedicated to exploring in depth diverse topics related to population ageing. The journal not only incorporates research from different disciplinary fields, but also encourages the use of multiple methodologies to analyze aging and its social implications. Specifically, the journal focuses on the interpretation of aging by life course theory, explores the effectiveness and challenges of aging policies, examines the impact of employment and retirement issues on the quality of life of older people, and analyzes the adaptability of dependency and care systems.
In addition, the journal also focuses on the role of age, gender and class relations in the aging process, aiming to reveal how these factors interweave to affect the social status and living conditions of older people.
